Nåde

During the second World War, Annelise, a beautiful young woman from Oslo with an aristocratic but tarnished past, is released from prison by the Quisling regime to spy, as a common house servant, on Norwegian citizens. She's assigned to both serve and monitor a Lutheran priest recently located to a coastal village, who is suspected of assisting the resistance. She reports to a brutal Nazi officer who will stop at nothing to gain information and power over them. Hoping for a better life, Annelise must navigate between the political and moral ambiguity of her new situation in order to survive, ultimately having to choose between helping the authorities or seeking her own freedom.
